17 of your reviews have been translated into Russian.
That last line threw me off. I wonder what made my reviews so special, that they needed a translation. Not only that, but does that mean it's 17 separate reviews or is it a few reviews getting translated multiple times? Also, is it actually turning into %u0440%u0443%u0441%u0441%u043A%u0438%u 0439 %u044F%u0437%u044B%u043A or is it using russkiy yazyk? Yes, i had to look that up, so for you Russian speakers, sorry if that's wrong.
Those silly medal points. Thanks to that one site (from where I received the data previously mentioned), I know I'm ranked 58th out of all the people who've logged in their medals, and are allowed onto the list. I can only imagine that there are other people who don't log in their stats, since I never really did, who are above me. I also have to take note that hackers may not have hacked every single time, so their medals they've received fairly will still probably outweigh mine. I really don't consider myself a hardcore gamer. I just have a lot of time on my hands, or I procrastinate and make time on my hands. (people, please don't do that, I've been doing it BEFORE medals were around =P)
Finally, I'm taking a vocal training class, and I'm using it so I can try and specialize in voice acting. I'm not doing this as a profession, but it gets rid of General Education credits. Still, I've always loved voice actors and the talent they have. I guess I'm more swayed by the anime VA's, but people like Billy West, John DiMaggio, Tom Kenny, and many others who aren't usually thought of with Japanese-based media (although John DiMaggio was Wakka and Kimahri in Final Fantasy X) are also people I admire for their voice-acting talents.
I guess I can do my own voices, but I tend to just go into a falsetto and make higher-pitched voices. I can do a darn good Elmo impression, for one thing. I can even make the sounds of a puppy crying, a cat meowing, and if I don't mess up and sound like either of those two, I can impersonate a seagull's cry. As for my own unique voices, I'm not sure, since I mostly imitate, instead of try to do my own work.
If anyone would like to help me (I doubt I could be used in a flash-based project since I'm really retarded with technology and wouldn't know how to send you long recordings unless you gave me instructions), could you leave a comment or two? I'd really appreciate some pointers on what other people do. I can do other voices and sounds with my voice, but I'd just really like to work with more human-sounding voices. The more I stray away from voices that are connected with video game or animation characters, the better. Of course, if you would like to use my (inexperienced) voice talents, and you have the time to put up with me, or have minimal lines (first time = wtf am I doing?), then I'll try and help.
